@smorrissette I agree with you on reading slides. I also think that the presenter should be passionate and excited about what they are teaching. There have been many times I am left wondering how some past presenters of PD were ever successful in the classroom, if they are using the same teaching methods.
I agree with you as well on leaving time for questions. I have attended some really great trainings that did not allow time for further questions or contact information if questions should arise.
I want to create relevant, applicable, and practicle PD. Just like in my classroom, I want questions and opportunities for the participants to practice. And like you, built in breaks will be built in to my training agendas.
Hello, my name is Jackie and I am a Virtual Tech Assistant for my organization in Canada. My role includes research, development and training of staff on new software. We have recently purchased several ViewBoards, and I am familiarizing myself with the software. I love the ViewBoard Classroom as it is useful in Hybrid Learning. It has amazing features and the Originals content is excellent, easy to use and very organized. I am excited to take the training and become certified.
Hi @c-panteliadis-gmail-com Thank you for the precious feedback. We really appreciate it.
And Yes, we are planning to do it. We will not sacrifice this functionality.
The reason of "this feature can not be happened right now" is due to technical issue. Currently, we do not have the technique to implement it.
Once we are ready, we will announce it.
Thank you for using myViewBoard so much!
@mgerberick Thanks for your feedback. As I mentioned in the previous comment, the .qb file is only supported by myViewBoard Classroom and Whiteboard online.
So you cannot access .qb file via Whiteboard for Windows or Whiteboard for Andriod. However, once our new file format .olf is ready for myViewBoard Classroom and Whiteboard online, you can access files across myViewBoard whiteboard products.
If you create your content on Classroom/Whiteboard online, you can save the .qb to Classroom. In addition, you can have two ways to add the .qb file onto canvas.
@joe-yang-viewsonic-com Thanks. That did the trick for AirPlay. Though I would like that 4-to-6 password issue fixed eventually. I don't want students jumping into my ViewBoard unannounced. Could be very problematic.
Firmware updated successfully, but the issue remains. Our IT guy is calling our local repair tech at some point today. I don't want to step on his toes. So I will let him go from here with facilitating the repair. But for your reference and curiousity, I am at Geneva High School in Geneva, New York, USA.
