IWB files cutting off portion in the middle
-
Myself and other teachers at my building are experiencing issues with IWB files. We have converted our SMART files to IWB to use in the Whiteboard for Android app on chromebook/chromebox. Recently, some of these have chunks missing from the middle of the page. I have two images attached, one of the SMART slide and one of the IWB slide. The "MATH NOTES" portion is cut off. This happens on many slides, often ones that are a bit larger than a typical square slide if this makes sense.
Do you know how we can fix this issue?

Could you try to open the iwb file with SMART notebook as well?
If the "MATH NOTES" portion is cut off in SMART notebook, then this issue might caused by some incompatability between different file type, say like ".notebook" and ".iwb"
If the portion isn't cut off in SMART notebook, could you please send us the ".notebook" and ".iwb" file for trouble shooting?

There are some workaround to solve this issue:
- Double click to edit the margin of the text box on each file, which could be a cumbersome.
- In SMART notebook, save it as PDF file, then import to Whiteboard for Android.

Thank you for your reply! It is NOT cut off in SMART notebook. I will send both files to the email you provided. Thank you!For the workarounds..

I have realized that what happens is that it creates two images that are grouped together overlapped. So if I ungroup them, then select only one and move it then the problem is solved. This is not ideal obviously to have to do on each slide of a transitioned file.

If converted to a PDF, we can only pull in 15 slides at a time that must be manually selected. Some of our math files that come from CPM have 200 slides with it. This is simply not a feasible option.
