Hello! When I open a PDF from my Google Drive and adjust the PDF to make it bigger (essentially full screen) to be able to annotate on it, but the PDF image become very blurry because I've zoomed in.

Is there a way to import a PDF so that it fits the full size of the page?

The picture might not look blurry, but I assure you- in person and in the back of the classroom, it is not clear. IMG_9334.jpg

        Hi @drychen
        Thank you for the feedback.

In order to help you, we'd like to have your help to provide below information:

        1. App version
        2. What size you see in "Infinite Canvas" (e.g. 100% or 230%, something like that)
        3. Can you also provide the PDF to me? You can email to "kaitlyn.peng@viewsonic.com" and please attach the url of this page to let me know who you are.

        Thank you.
        Kaitlyn

          Hello,

That's right! imported PDFs are always blurry when zoomed in. One of my collegues recently tried to import a geographical map as a PDF and told me it was impossible to use it on the board (although it works perfectly on his laptop). As soon as you zoom in (even with the "select tool" and not varying the infinite Canvas zoom), it is blurred.
It looks like imported PDF get compressed...(?)
Imported images (jpg) have a much better resolution.

          Best regards,
          Stéphane

            Hi drychen and Stephane:

The image quality of imported PDF file is not good, because ViewBoard currently does not have much available memory to temporarily store contents.

In order to allow user importing more pages, we had to lower the image quality of imported PDF file to just an acceptable level.

We can definitely provide much higher image quality in the future when ViewBoard has at least 8 GB system memory.

              Hi @frank-chu-viewsonic-com

our IFP8652-1B boards have afak 8GB system memory but the Windows OPS only have 4GB.
Would a system memory upgrade help us getting a better quality or does it depend on myViewBoard settings only you can change?

              Best regards,
              Stéphane

                Hi Stephane:

Our current logic is not flexible enough. That means it uses the fixed rule to apply the image quality of any imported PDF. We will improve the logic to take available memory into the consideration.

                    I have the same problem!

But when I import the pdf to my windows-laptop-version, save it as olf-file and open it for example on a stick ... it has the full resolution ...
