Thanks for the information.
I have checked the Clips service is available inside Classroom Magic Box. The video can be dragged onto canvas and play normally.
If you encounter a logout dialog window, please click logout and login again and see if the service is back. Please kindly let us know if you still unable to access it and it would be helpful with your screenshot so that we can work faster with our team.
@brent_rohrer-olsd-us Hi, Brent,
In addition to the adorner behavior improvement, in the next generation Whiteboard it will support object press-and-drag without poping up adorner menu. It is going to replace current Whiteboard on Android in 2023 Q1.
@brent_rohrer-olsd-us Hi, Brent,
We call the "image tool screen" adorner menu. It is by default unfolded after single or multiple objects are selected in order to provide fast access to associate features.
It could be the chance that young kids unintentionally click adorner features when they just want to move the object. Therefore we will analyze how to improve the user experience here and collect as many advices as possible. For example, add a switch inside setting to make adorner menu folded or unfolded by default and keep object resize, move and rotate as-is.
Much appreciated for the feedback and again we will keep on thinking how to improve this behavior.
Thanks for this valuable information. By the way, we had figured out that this is the Window Whiteboard issue and we already put it into the list. I hope it can be fixed in early November. I will inform you the status once it is solved.
Sorry for this inconvenience and thanks again for the sharing.
Hi, Brian @brian-greenlaw-msad59-org
We tried to reproduce the scenario with the file "2.2 Intro to Functions.olf". Here are the reproduce steps:
Upload the file to my Google Drive.
Use Whiteboard online/Classroom to access the file on Google Drive.
Do nothing and "Save As" to a new file on Google Drive.
Then use Whiteboard on Windows, login and use File Manager to access my Google Drive.
Inside my Google Drive I "cannot" see the OLF file that I just "Save As" from Whiteboard online/Classroom. It is invisible.
However if I download the new file to local drive then I can see it and open it in Whiteboard on Windows.
Just want to check if this is the same scenario that you encountered? Anyway it is definitely an issue that we are going to solve.
Much appreciated for the great help!
Thank you for the detailed information.
What I am going to do is to collaborate with online Whiteboard/ Classroom and Windows Whiteboard team and to reproduce your issue, so one important thing here is could you please share with us the OLF file that you were unable to access? This will help us facilitating the troubleshooting process. Your file will be safely kept inside ViewSonic.
OLF format is the cornerstone of myViewBoard ecosystem and we are glad to see that your Whiteboard/OLF application exactly fits to what myViewBoard is designed for. We are happy to see our works can really empower teachers' professionals and with your feedback we are getting myViewBoard a better teaching solution.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you please tell us the following:
The browser type and version that you connected to https://myviewboard.com/display/
Is it Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari? Currently the Display service supports Chrome and Edge only.
The version of Display service, you can find it at the lower left corner of screen. For example 1.51.2
Could you please provide us the Viewboard model? For example IFP7550-2.
Could you please double-check the sender and Viewboard are connected to the Internet?
Lastly, could you please force stop the Display on Viewboard, re-launch it and connect again and see if it is back to normal?
Thank you for the information.
Is it possible to share with us your original vboard file and also the olf file that cannot open by your colleagues, so that we can do a quick check? You can send it to email@example.com
And it would be helpful if you can share your Whiteboard version number.
Much appreciated for the information.
Thank you for the feedback.
Could you please help us to figure out:
Do you have the Internet access on the device running Display?
Is there any error message showing on the Display?
ls it a Window version or Android version Display, and the Display version number?
Are you running Display on ViewSonic IFP, PC or other device such as Android phone/tablet or IFP from other vendor? Could you provide us the model number?
Your assistance is much appreciated.
