I have found the 30,000 hour minimum backlight lifespan as well as the three year warranty, but want to know if there is a typical lifespan for the viewboard. My school uses the IFP6550-3 model and we are working on a replacement plan for when our viewboards start to fail and would like to have an estimate for when they would need to be replaced.

Is there a way to have a notification sound play on the ViewBoard when a broadcast message is sent? I am aware of the siren for urgent broadcast but would like a simple notification sound to play on standard broadcasts.
